Anonymous asked: What happened to your car? I think someone crashed into it in the parking lot of Vocus.
No such thing :) I park next to the window so I can monitor it the entire time I’m at work. LOL
One of my friends, Ashlea Hogan went missing early this morning (May 9th, 2012) from her home in West Virginia. She was confirmed home at 4am and disappeared around 6am in Martinsburg (Berkeley County). Authorities have been notified.
Here’s what she looks like. She’s 21 years old.

Her ex-boyfriend, Chris Dawson, brutally beat her last week and went to jail for it on a misdemeanor. He later bonded out and she obtained a restraining order. Today is the court date for that incident and neither of them can be found. Disgusting remarks from him about her are on his Facebook page up until yesterday.

This is a photo of the bruises and scarring from hours of punching and choking.

Here is the info from when he was booked for assaulting her:

It seems that Ashlea might be a victim of abduction by Chris Dawson - she did not leave home at her own will.
If anyone sees either if these two, please call the police. It is reported that he drives a Neon Green Nissan Pick-Up Truck. We hope and pray that Ashlea will return home safe.

Update: 9pm, May 9th:
I’ve contacted West Virginia TV news stations with Ashlea’s info. Let’s hope they broadcast it so people in the area she was last seen can be on the lookout. Here are the TV stations I’ve contacted:
WSAZ, WVVA, WCHS, WOWK, WDTV, WBOY, WTAP, WVAH, WTRF, WOAY, WHSV, WVNS.
Will work on contacting newspapers and radio stations soon too. Once I’ve completed those I will reach out to Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and any one else you think I should.
The twitter hashtag for sharing is #FindAshlea. Any info or efforts you put in are greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: Ashlea was returned home on Sunday, May 13th.
We figured it was only a matter of time before someone came up with a Klout-like service to measure how influential (or how inconsequential) you are on Pinterest. With a few clicks, PinClout measures how many followers you have, how many you follow and how many likes you have and gives you a score of one to 100.
As noted by SpiderWorking’s Amanda Webb, it’s unclear how accurate of a measure PinClout is for the reach of your pinning (Webb and I, for instance, each scored 29 even though her numbers were higher than mine in seven of the eight categories PinClout tracks). But it is clear that “pinfluence” is growing in importance as fast as Pinterest is growing in popularity.
